The local Metropolitan Planning Organizations are responsible for planning and implementing transportation  and other development activities which have a regional impact in Southwestern Connecticut. These activities include creating master plans for the entire region, administering state and federal grants, transportation planning, Brownfields redevelopment, census information and aiding in  the overall economic development of the region.  Please refer to the websites below to view Plans of Conservation and Development for each region and other information about the local planning process.
